The Concept
"What if we could generate unique, engaging idle games while we sleep?"
Incremental games (also called idle games or clicker games) are one of gaming's most addictive genres. From Cookie Clicker to Adventure Capitalist, these games tap into fundamental psychological rewards that keep players coming back for "just one more upgrade."
GamePocGen uses a team of specialized AI agents to generate complete incremental games from scratch. Each game is unique, playable in the browser, and designed using proven engagement patterns.
Instant Playability
Every generated game runs directly in the browser. No downloads, no installs. Share a link and play immediately.
Unique Every Time
Creative AI generates fresh themes, mechanics, and progression systems. No two games are alike.
Psychology-Driven
Every game is reviewed by a specialized psychology agent to ensure satisfying reward loops and pacing.
Overnight Generation
Start the generator before bed, wake up to 5-10 playable game prototypes ready for testing.
Proven Game Patterns
The AI draws from battle-tested incremental game patterns that have captivated millions of players. Each pattern provides a foundation that the AI expands with unique twists and themes.
💡 The Magic Formula
Every generated game must have 3+ interlocking currencies that feed into each other, creating meaningful choices about resource allocation. Gold buys workers, workers produce gems, gems unlock upgrades that boost gold production. This interconnection is what makes incremental games feel deep despite simple mechanics.
Specialized AI Agents
Six specialized AI agents collaborate to design each game. Each agent focuses on a specific aspect of game design, ensuring no detail is overlooked. They work in parallel, then a final review agent ensures everything fits together.
Designs the interlocking currency system. Determines how resources flow from A → B → C, conversion rates, and economic balance.
- Primary, secondary, premium currencies
- Conversion mechanics and rates
- Inflation control and sinks
Maps the player journey from first click to endgame. Places gates, milestones, and reveals to maintain engagement over the full play session.
- Unlock sequences and requirements
- Milestone rewards and celebrations
- Content pacing over 15-30 minutes
Creates the "prestige" or "rebirth" system that encourages players to reset for permanent bonuses, extending playtime exponentially.
- Reset triggers and requirements
- Permanent bonus calculations
- What resets vs. what persists
Designs branching upgrade paths that let players specialize. Creates meaningful choices between different playstyles and build strategies.
- Node layouts and connections
- Upgrade effects and costs
- Build archetypes and synergies
Plans the visual layout, information hierarchy, and feedback systems. Ensures players always know what to do next and feel rewarded for actions.
- Screen layouts and navigation
- Visual feedback (particles, numbers)
- Notification and alert systems
MANDATORY review of all designs. Checks for psychological engagement patterns and identifies potential frustration points or pacing issues.
- Reward loop satisfaction
- Pacing and reveal timing
- Player agency and control
Psychology-Driven Design
The Psychology Reviewer agent evaluates every game design against seven key engagement principles. These are the secret sauce that separates forgettable games from "just one more minute" addictive experiences.
🎯 Agency vs Randomness
Players must feel their decisions matter. Too much RNG feels unfair; too little feels deterministic.
⏱️ Reveal Speed
New content appears at the perfect pace - not so fast it overwhelms, not so slow it bores.
👁️ Reward Visibility
Progress must be obvious. Numbers going up, bars filling, unlocks appearing - constant visual feedback.
😬 Near-Miss Frequency
Almost reaching a goal creates tension and motivation. "Just 50 more gold!" keeps players engaged.
🎰 Variable Rewards
Unpredictable bonuses trigger dopamine. Critical hits, lucky drops, bonus multipliers.
💔 Loss Aversion Balance
Stakes make choices meaningful, but punishment shouldn't feel unfair. Risk without frustration.
💪 Competence Building
Players should feel they're getting better, mastering systems, making smarter decisions over time.
"The best incremental games don't just reward time - they reward understanding."
The Generation Process
From idea to playable game in 5 phases. Each phase builds on the previous, with verification steps ensuring quality at every stage.
Idea Generation ~10 min
A creative AI generates a unique game concept by combining patterns (mining + tower building?), themes (underwater? steampunk? cosmic?), and hooks (what makes THIS game special?).
Game Design Document ~60 min
Six specialized agents work in parallel to flesh out every aspect of the design: currencies, progression, prestige, skill trees, UI/UX. The Psychology Reviewer then audits everything for engagement.
Implementation Planning ~15 min
The design is converted into a phased build plan with clear milestones and verification criteria. Each feature is broken into testable chunks.
Game Building ~120 min
An orchestrator AI builds the game using pre-made components: currency systems, upgrade buttons, progress bars, skill trees. Each feature is tested before moving to the next.
Deployment ~5 min
The finished game is automatically deployed to its own subdomain with SSL. Instantly shareable and playable in any browser.
🌙 Overnight Batches
Trigger 5-10 game generations before bed. The system runs through the night,
and by morning you have a gallery of unique, playable prototypes to evaluate.
Each game deploys to its own gamedemo1.namjo-games.com,
gamedemo2.namjo-games.com, etc.
